The Color of Dawn Poetry by a Member of Generation X eBook Amber Jerome~Norrgard Scott Morgan
Of all the writing endeavors I find poetry to be the most personal. I do not have the voice or courage to write poetry and that is one of the reasons I truly admire Amber's work. These are snapshots of emotion taken with a ken eye of introspection. Revealed is a complex woman who has dealt with much in her life - both good and bad. She hasn't backed down from any of it - love or grief - and now provides us a glimpse of how those moments have changed her.She is a new voice and there are some signs of that growth. I am anxious to read her next set of verses because I know the maturity of voice will come. She already has the open soul - and that is more than a little achievement. The technical work will come and we will all be the better for it.

The Color of Dawn Poetry by a Member of Generation X eBook Amber Jerome~Norrgard Scott Morgan Reviews
I found this overall, a heartfelt manuscript. I felt the passion in her words and saw her journey as a woman come to life.
I have never read poetry before. Mostly because I don't understand it. But The Color of Dawn is a beautiful collection of poetry that touched my heart.
I'm not a big reader of poetry, but I have been reading more and more of it as of late. I do not like long prose that seems to go nowhere and makes no sense by the end. This book is a from-the-heart type poetry that really touches a person, and I loved it! I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys poetry.
How do you review something that clenches your stomach, brings tears of pain and joy back to your heart? Amber's poetry does just that. It brings back floods of emotion you've experienced over time, some poignant, some raw...but all bound in an ethereal beauty of expression. Well worth your 99 cents in my opinion, it's worth more than that to relive the moments she brings back to you.
Poets, in my opinion, are the bravest soldiers in the army of writers. Poets write from the heart and lay themselves bare, allowing us to glimpse their innermost fears, desires and hopes, and Amber is no different. Her passionate poems of love, loss, and at times, self reflection, were relatable and not only showed me what she has felt in her life, but have reminded me what I have felt in mine. An accessible read which, while emotional, is filled with the writer's positive spirit of hope for a new day.
Incredibly well-written collection of heart-wrenching and moving poems. The author takes the reader on an amazing rollercoaster of emotions while she covers topics like love, sadness, or motherhood. You can almost physically feel the feelings the author so candidly poured over her writing, and I dare you to read these poems and forget about them on the next day. That will never happen. They will haunt you with their beauty and musicality, with their deep feelings, and with the power of the words used. I can't wait to read the rest of poetry collections written by this extraordinary author.
I love poetry ..alot.. for me Poetry is more important than any other book.My believes is that all books is good for the mind ..but not poetry....Poetry is for the soul.
This book is full of "Small Diamonds"and i found myself reading them again and again...so much feelings pain, anger, agony, passion and love overwhelm you at once in every poem.
One of the poems there is my Diamond "YOU"
If you buy this book make sure to read the poems more than just ones and you will found youself -like i did-fascinated by the way Amber Norrgard voiced her thoughts.
I only wish i have this book in paperback so i could enjoy it more.
Looking forward to read any new book from her...for now i'll just read her blog.
I would like to say that Amber Norrgard is one of the many new -good- writers i found in twitter
